Centaurea cyanus is our native cornflower that once grew as a weed in cornfields throughout the UK. The beautiful flowers are surrounded by a ring of colourful spiky petals and we harvest only these outer parts, ensuring the highest quality of colour. Wonderful for wildlife, the pollen and nectar are a food source for many species of bees and the seeds are enjoyed by birds such as goldfinches.
