Alyssum is a low growing member of the brassica family with small honey-scented flowers. It originates from the southern Mediterranean region and is well known as a popular bedding plant . Its delicate appearance makes it a wonderful addition to natural designs. These long stems have a cluster of small pink flowers at the top, the stem is dotted with tiny seed heads and there are occasionally a few leaves at the base. These flowers are best removed before serving.
