Alyssum is a low growing member of the brassica family with small honey-scented flowers. It originates from the southern Mediterranean region and is well known as a popular bedding plant . Its delicate appearance makes it a wonderful addition to natural designs. Pressed Alyssum flowers have short stems, a cluster of tiny magenta pink flowers at the top and small leaves at the base. These flowers are for decoration only, remove before serving.
